Alpine Ecological Excursion (AEE) is designed to exchange the knowledge that is swinging with science, technology and indigenous for alpine ecology. Here you will understand Himalaya environment, way of living of local people, interacting with between local people and nature. With this, you will learn about snow leopard behavior which is top in food chain of alpine ecosystem by monitoring the snow leopard using sign survey, remote camera trail and direct count of blue sheep and Himalayan tahr, the major wild prey. Here we will train you about snow leopard monitoring system, counting and classified sex and age category of prey species such as blue sheep and Himalayan tahr. There are in place of community-based snow leopard monitoring system. Hence, your contribution will be motivating tool to conserve the endangered snow leopard as well as promote local livelihood of Greater Himalaya. Here you will observe alpine vegetation, livestock herding system, hydro-logical cycle, glacial system and many others of alpine ecosystem in the Greater Himalaya.
